>Later becomes 202 Mod
Model No. 9 is a small bore Trumpet made in Bb with quick-change slide to A. It has the famous Buescher patented Split-No-Tone Bell. Length 19-1/2 inches. Diameter of Bell 4-3/8 inches. Weight 2-1/2 pounds. Furnished in either low or high and low pitch.
Made in Bb with quick change slide to A.
Touted as being popular for its adaptability to muted effects (cat’s meow, duck’s quack, etc.) This probably doesn’t sound very appealing today, but back in the 1920s, that was all the rage and was also known as “freak” playing. <
1 Compression test was good.
Side play pretty much none with finger buttons held half way down.
I did all the air tests…took each slide off and put valves down and covered the slide open hole. Blew and there was no air to speak of.
These valve were made very well there is a bit of wear on them but not too bad. ( see pics )
2 gold plated finish is 97 % or so. Engraving to top. Some wear on 2nd slide and some near finger hook and a bit near touch areas but I do not think this was played very much.
3 ORIGINAL Case ( ONE SIDE BUCKLE DOES NOT WORK ) has all the stuff in it. gold plated mute , gold plated cornet adapter , grease container , gold plated lyre , silver cleaning stick ,
ORIGINAL FACTORY CARD SERIAL 187208 1925 , ALSO HAS SOME KING OF MUSIC STORE SLIP ( SEE PICS )
4 IT HAS CAPS AND VALVES WITH MATCHING SERIAL NUMBERS
5 NEW WATER PADS MY TECH PUT ON
6 NO REAL DENTS I SEE
7 BELL ROUND NEVER DAMAGED I CAN SEE

10 THE ONLY LITTLE ODDITY IS WHEN YOU TAKE THE FRONT TUNING SLIDE OFF TO PUT BACK ON YOU HAVE TO WIGGLE IT A BIT SIDE TO SIDE TO GO BACK ON. MAYBE THAT CAN BE ADJUSTED ???
11 LEAD PIPE NO AIR LEAKING I TESTED IN FINE SHAPE
