6 ALL ROLLERS ROLL

7 PLAYS ON NEWER PADS THEY ARE NOT ORIGINAL FACTORY PADS !!

…AND THEY ARE IN GOOD SHAPE FROM WHAT I SEE.

THERE MAYBE A FEW MIXTURE OF STYLE OF PADS BUT ALL RESPOND WELL

I TESTED IT WITH MY BRILHART MPC AND I GOT A FAT PROFESSIONAL MARTIN SOUND !

13 BELL MAY HAVE BEEN GOLD WASH BUT LOOKS FADED

14 PROFESSIONAL REPAIR WAS DONE ON NECK KEY. LOOKS LIKE TEC USED TWO PIECES OF METAL ON EACH SIDE TO FIX BROKEN KEY. ( I AM NOT A TECH BUT NECK FUNCTIONS FINE ) SEE PIC 12

THIS IS A HEAVY SAX BUILT LIKE A TANK BACK WHEN MARTIN STENCILS WERE PROFESSIONAL SAXES IMO.

15 COMES WITH OK I THINK ORG CASE MARTIN TYPE VINTAGE CASE. BUT NO NAME I SEE

HANDLE AND SNAPS WORK.

16 COMES WITH ORG SILVER NECK PLUG TO PROTECT OCTAVE BAR ETC

HERE IS SOME INFO FROM AN EXPERT FRIEND OF MINE:

This sax is likely vintage early 1929, although late 1928 is possible.

In April 1929, Martin launched its Indiana Band Instrument Co subsidiary, with all stencils reverting to its models and serial system. The highest recorded Martin stencil to date is 194618.

Hope this helps,

I PUT THE SHIPPING AND HANDLING AT 65 BUT IF IT IS LOWER I WILL REFUND YOU

IF IT IS HIGHER I WILL SEND INVOICE TO YOU FOR DIFFERENCE.

I AM IN PA SO WHERE YOU ARE LOCATED WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE….THE CASE IS PRETTY SOLID AND HEAVY

I DID MY BEST TO DESCRIBE THE ITEM

I ALSO HAVE A LOT OF CLASSIC VINTAGE SAXES AND TRUMPETS / CORNETS TO OFFER !!
